The long-awaited Milan design event is just around the corner. From the 17th to 22nd of April, Salone del Mobile, in the new exhibition centre in Rho, and Fuorisalone, which involves, instead, the Milanese urban fabric in events, installations, presentations, meetings scattered in 11 major areas of the city, will attract hundreds of visitors from all over the world. Designers, architects, journalists or merely curious people will come to Milan to discover, at the fair, all the "institutional innovations" and new trends in the furniture industry and interior design, and in many locations in the Fuorisalone, the most creative, futuristic or experimental design objects. As in the case of lighting systems by Aldabra, which can be admired, in their particular version made of Kerlite, the porcelain stoneware tile, at Cotto d'Este Showroom in Piazza Castello.
Nook, Stecco and the new "Tree-Angle" product will be exhibited for the large international audience inside the showroom space in a customized installation that recreates a typical outdoor setting in materials and arrangement.
In fact, all the lamps are perfect to illuminate outdoor environments, having the LED light source protected by a body made of polymerized resin, highly resistant to dust, water and mechanical stress. The same sturdiness feature we can find in Kerlite tile, an ultra-thin, flexible laminated porcelain stoneware with high aesthetic, technological and material performance.
Nook is the tile that has the light source on the corner, to recreate a light path like an "in style" entrée, Stecco is the surface mounted bollard which gives light to parking or green areas without sacrifing design and elegance and finally Tree-Angle is the new product, which has been fully included in the range of outdoor lighting fixtures, winner of the project "KERLIGHT - Design your own light with Kerlite".
A bollard, designed by the architectural firm 967ARCH, which combines and highlights the highly technological and functional performance of the LED system protected by a polymerized resin “body” signed by Aldabra together with the quality of resistance, flexibility and aesthetic simplicity of the Kerlite material.
3 lighting systems for 3 creative design solutions.
